For the 1st time in the 123 year history of Croagh/Kilfinny GAA club we have fielded a Junior C hurling team, this means that we now have 5 adult teams (Premier Intermediate, Junior B, Junior C, U21 and Minor) competing in the hurling championship of 2026. A huge achievement for a small rural club.

Our Junior C team to date in their 3 championship games have fielded 27 different players with every player getting game time.

We would like to sincerely thank all those 27 players and especially Liam Lenihan and the other senior players that have worked on getting teams out for each of the 3 games and for organising some training sessions.

It is great to get these players reconnected to the club (in some cases) and back actively playing and competing. They have played 3 games against, Dromin/Athlacca, Effin and Killeedy. All 3 opposition teams fielded their second adult team where we fielding our third team. Our lads acquitted themselves well and are getting better with every game.
